holds a degree in Mechanical Industrial Engineering from the Center for Development of Technology and Human Resources (1996), a master's degree in Materials Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2000) and a PhD in Space Engineering and Technology from the National Institute for Space Research (2005). He is currently an associate professor at the Federal University of São Paulo. He has experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering. He is the coordinator of the Multifunctional Materials and Sensors Project where he develops research in the area of ceramic materials for use as sensors and metallic materials produced by magnetron sputtering plasma measuring electrical, magnetic and photoacoustic signals from these materials. Develops design and construction of prototypes using PID process control tools and Kalman filters; assembly for reading, processing and controlling signals using programming and hardware assembly with Arduino, PIC, Raspberry PI, A/D and D/A converter microcontrollers, etc. It also coordinates the Multidisciplinary Technological Extension in Engineering project, which aims to design and manufacture electronically controlled prototypes for participation in national competitions.
