The researcher is currently a PhD student in the Ph.D. program in Science and Technology Policy at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas and is a member of the Interdisciplinary Studies Group in Science and Technology (GEICT). He is doing research within the Science and Technology Studies on public participation in the Brazilian Health Technology Assessment of the national drug access policy. He is currently on a doctoral internship abroad in the anthropology department at the University of Chicago. He has a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (USP). He did a master's degree in the graduate Program in Health Communication and Information at Fiocruz, where he researched the structuring of research agendas in biomedical science laboratories . He was awarded a scholarship by the Public Policies and Health Care Models program of Fiocruz's Vice-Presidency for Research and Biological Collections (PMA/VPPCB), working as a scientific dissemination assistant.
