Maurilane de Souza Biccas

She is a Professor of Education in the History of Education at the School of Education of USP (2019). Comprises the National and International Cooperation Committee of FEUSP (CCInt-FE). He coordinates two international agreements, Pedagogical University in Mozambique and the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the New University of Lisbon, Portugal. Since 2002, he has composed the coordination of the NIEPHE (Interdisciplinary Nucleus of Studies and Research in History of Education).He holds a degree in Psychology from the Minas Gerais College of Education and Culture (1983), a Master's degree in Education from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1995), a Ph.D. in Education from the University of São Paulo (2001) and a postdoctoral degree in Education from the University of Santiago de Compostela (2009). She was editor of the Brazilian Journal of Education History from 2004 to 2007. She worked in the period from 2006 to 2012, for ALFASOL and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as an advisor to the Ministry of Education of São Tomé and Príncipe in Africa. She also participated as an advisor through SECADI and the Ministry of Education of Brazil, with the Ministry of Human Development of Mozambique, from 2015 to 2016. She composed the Commission of Educational and Research Assistant Editors, a journal of the Faculty of Education of the University of São Paulo. She has experience in Education, with emphasis on History of Education, working mainly in the following subjects: pedagogical press, school practices, school culture and schooling, education of young and adult people.
