Bachelor's degree in Meteorology from USP, Master's degree in Meteorology from INPE. Currently working on a PhD in Earth System Sciences from INPE. He worked at INPE between 1998 and 2010 as a Software Analyst hired by the Science, Space Applications and Techniques Foundation (FUNCATE/SJC) and by OnSet Tecnologia LTDA, whose focus was the development of tools and software to improve climate forecasting. During this period, he coordinated technical meetings for the analysis and construction of quarterly climate forecasts, and also worked as a people and project manager in the meteorological operation of CPTEC/INPE. Between 2009 and 2015, he led the analysis and implementation group for biosphere modeling software (INLAND) within the development program of the Brazilian Earth System Model (BESM) at CCST/INPE. He was a Senior International Consultant at the Organization of American States (OAS) within the Committee of the Countries of the Rio de la Plata Basin. He also worked as a developer on the MSA-BNDES/biomass project. Has experience in: Obtaining observational data, organizing and generating meteorological products; Model analysis and climate forecasting; Development of biosphere and atmosphere modeling software; Specialist in diagnosing meteorological phenomena in South America. Has in-depth experience in: Multi-platform computers (UNIX, LINUX, WINDOWS, Mac OS X); Programming languages #8203;#8203;(Fortran, Cshell); Configuration and use of cloud services (Dropbox, Google, OneDrive).
