Biologist, graduated from Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás (PUC/2008). Master's in Ecology and Natural Resource Management from the Federal University of Acre (UFAC/2013). PhD in Zoology from UNESP Rio Claro. She has experience in the fields of Vertebrate Zoology, Environmental Education, and Community and Ecosystem Ecology, working primarily on projects and studies related to herpetofauna and ornithofauna in the Cerrado, Amazon, and peri-urban areas of the Atlantic Forest Biomes. Her main research lines are Ecology of herpetofaunal communities, natural history of Brazilian reptiles, taxonomy and systematics of snakes, environmental education for wildlife conservation, and gender studies in science. She is currently a collaborator researcher at the Herpetology Laboratory of the Zoology Museum of the University of São Paulo (MZUSP), a founding member of the projects Herpetology According to Herpetologists, OrnitoMulheres, and Chalana Esperança, where she works on scientific outreach and environmental education activities. She is also a professor at the University of Santo Amaro, teaching in the Medicine, Biology, Veterinary Medicine, and Dentistry programs, and holds the position of coordinator of environmental conservation programs at the SOS Pantanal Institute.
