Architect and Urbanist (1995) graduated from USP, Campus São Carlos. Mestre (2000) by the Postgraduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism, EESC USP, developed work on the professional trajectory of Paulo de Camargo e Almeida and the training of the first generation of modern architects in the country. Holds a doctorate (2010) in the area of #8203;#8203;Theory and History of Architecture and Modern Urbanism, from IAU USP, with an emphasis on interventions and restoration on cultural heritage. Conducted postdoctoral research (2016-9) at the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism, University of São Paulo, and Instituto Bardi, researching the contribution of Lina Bo Bardi to the field of restoration in Brazil. During the same period, carried out research, funded by the Getty Foundation, to develop the conservation and management plan for the Lina Bo Bardi Glass House, for the Lina Bo and P.M. Bardi Institute, as assistant coordinator.Has experience in public policy management for the preservation of cultural heritage, having coordinated patrimonial actions in the Municipality of São Carlos (SP), for over ten years. Coordinated and held several exhibitions, publications and cultural projects with public funding and tax incentive laws. Of the exhibitions highlights "Casas de Vidro", 2018, held at Casa de Vidro / Bardi Institute; and "Arquitetura Brasileña 1950-2000", held in 2013, in Pamplona, #8203;#8203;Spain, and Brazil: De la Antropofagia a Brasilia, in 2000 at IVAM, Valencia, Spain, both together with Carlos A. Ferreira Martins.Develops several works of heritage education and research in the areas of cultural heritage and history of modern architecture and urbanism, integrating since 1996 the Research Group on Architecture and Urbanism in Brazil (ArqBras). Has been teaching since 2011 at Centro Universitário Paulista (UNICEP-São Carlos), where he coordinated the undergraduate course in Architecture and Urbanism from January 2014 to June 2017, and resumed the position of coordinator in 2019. At the same institution, he teaches Theories and History of Modern Architecture and Urbanism and Historical Heritage and Retrospective Techniques. Since 2018, coordinates the City, Architecture and Heritage Research Group (CAP). Wrote and organized of several publications and academic texts, of which the book "Interpretações do Patrimônio" stands out, which reflects on the history of restoration in Brazil.Individual member of institutions and associations in the area of #8203;#8203;research in Architecture and Urbanism and Cultural Heritage: National Association of Research and Graduate Studies in Architecture and Urbanism (ANPARQ); International Committee for Documentation and Conservation of Buildings, Sites and Neighborhoods of the Modern Movement (DOCOMOMO / Brazil); and International Council of Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS / Brazil).
