Graduated in Civil Engineering from the School of Engineering of São Carlos/USP (2003). Master in Structural Engineering from the Structures Department of the Engineering School of São Carlos/USP, with emphasis on Precast Concrete Structures (2007), under the supervision of Dr. Mounir Khalil El Debs. The research done in this work was about the development of alternative support material for connections of Precast Concrete structures. Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the Department of Civil Engineering, Université de Sherbrooke (Québec) - Canada (2013), with emphasis on Road Bridges (concrete and steel/concrete composite), under the supervision of Dr. Patrick Paultre. Doctoral research was completed with the development of fragility curves for different classes of highway bridges in the province of Quebec (Canada), retrofitted using natural rubber seismic isolators. Experience in structural engineering in the following areas: application of statistical tools for risk assessment, damage mitigation and retrofit of structures and infrastructures, seismic risk analysis, and dynamics of structures.
