Holds a specialization in Cell Therapy (Lato Sensu postgraduate program) from the Teaching and Research Institute of the Albert Einstein Israeli Hospital. Holds a Masters degree in Sciences from the Graduate Program in Structural and Functional Biology at UNIFESP and a PhD in Sciences from the Graduate Program in Anatomy of Domestic and Wild Animals at FMVZ-USP, whose dissertation was selected by the department to compete in the 13th edition of the USP-CAPES Distinguished Thesis Award.Has conducted research focused on the development of novel molecules with antitumor potential, with experience in culturing tumor cells and fibroblasts, including the isolation and maintenance of primary cultures. Developed drug delivery systems using lipid microvesicles (liposomes) targeted to specific cells.Proficient in histological techniques such as microtomy, ultramicrotomy, embedding in historesin, paraffin, and epoxy resin (Epon), as well as immunohistochemistry.Experienced in transmission and scanning electron microscopy, with skills in image analysis and interpretation of cellular ultrastructure.Worked with gas chromatography and compound identification using the NIST-14 library.Actively participates in multidisciplinary research teams with a focus on translational applications.
