Abstract
Anyphaenidae includes 58 genera and 614 species of small to medium sized spiders, which normally inhabit arboreal environments. It is divided in Amaurobioidinae and Anyphaeninae subfamilies. Amaurobioidinae is distinguished by a tracheal spiracle closer to spinnerets than the epigastric region, and male palpus with an exclusive hyaline triangular area on tegulum.
