Graduated in Medicine from the University of São Paulo (1986); PhD in Ophthalmology from FMUSP (1999); Habilitation (Livre-Docência) in Ophthalmology from the University of São Paulo (2009). Currently Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at FMUSP (since July 2010). Director of the Oculoplastic Surgery Service at the Ophthalmology Clinic of HCFMUSP. Coordinator of Undergraduate and Post-Graduate Program in Ophthalmology at FMUSP. Experience in the field of Medicine, with an emphasis on Ophthalmic Surgery, mainly focusing on the following areas: surgery, eyelid, orbit, lacrimal system, and treatment.
