Holds a Bachelor's and Licentiate Degree in Geography from the University of São Paulo (USP) (2006), as well as a Master's (2009) and Ph.D. (2014) in Human Geography from the same institution. Completed a postdoctoral fellowship and served as a visiting professor at the Department of Geography of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2016. In 2010, he was awarded first place in the X Denatran Traffic Education Award, in the Technical Work category, for his master's dissertation. In 2015, he received an honorable mention at the 4th USP Outstanding Thesis Award, in the Human Sciences knowledge area, for his doctoral thesis. He has teaching experience in both primary education (middle school, high school, and adult education - EJA) and higher education (bachelor's, licentiate, and technological courses). He is currently an associate professor at the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp), Cities Institute, East Zone Campus (ICZL). He coordinates the research, eaching e extension group "Peripheral Mobility Network" (Redemopes). His academic work is focused on Urban Mobility, Networks,Transportation, Cities, Spatial Segregation, Urban Peripheries, Inequality, Racism, Urban and Regional Planning, Digital, Collaborative, and Social Cartography.
