Professor of History at the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina - Garopaba Campus (IFSC). PhD in History from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), with a thesis on the Brazilian urban minimum wage between the 1940s and 1960s. Post-doctorate on contemporary slave labor in the interior of São Paulo, carried out at the Research Center in Social History of Culture (CECULT), at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), where he was a collaborating researcher. He was a substitute professor in the Department of Social Sciences at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) and in the Department of History at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC).
