I hold a PhD degree in Combinatorics and Optimization from the University of Waterloo, Canada (2010 - 2014). I got my Master and Bachelor of Sciences degrees at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, in Brazil (2006 - 2010). My research interests: algebraic graph theory, quantum computation and semidefinite optimization. I was also a postdoc at the University of Waterloo and at the Universidade de São Paulo. I am currently an assistant professor at the Department of Computer Science of the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
