Paula Esposito Almeida holds a Bachelor's and a Licentiate degree in History from the São Paulo State University (UNESP), Franca campus, and a Masters degree in History and Social Culture from the same institution.bDuring her Master's studies, she was a FAPESP fellow, conducting research on Portuguese Medieval History, with an emphasis on the Portuguese exploratory voyages and the discovery of the West African coast throughout the 15th century.
