Graduated in Biological Sciences at Universidade de São Paulo: Bachelor (2013-2017) and Licentiate (2017-2018). Started straight PhD in Microbiology at Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas (Universidade de São Paulo) in 2019. Experience in the field of Microbiology, with emphasis on Applied Microbiology, focusing on bioprocesses involving Burkholderia sacchari as a biotechnological platform for polyhydroxyalkanoate production from alternative carbon sources (biorefinery). Currently, a student at the Laboratory of Bioproducts coordinated by Professor Luiziana Ferreira da Silva since 2015, with expertise in xylose catabolism by Burkholderia sacchari and, more recently, by its production of the copolymer poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-4-hydroxybutyrate).
