Graduated in Biomedical Sciences from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP, 2018), where he was an undergraduate research fellow (FAPESP and CNPq, 20152018) in the Department of Biochemistry UNIFESP, working on projects focused on antigen identification and vaccine development against livestock pests (Rhipicephalus microplus). He completed a direct-PhD program in the Department of Immunology at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (ICB-USP, 2024), including a research internship at the Center for Transplantation Sciences (CTS) of Massachusetts General HospitalHarvard Medical School (MGHHMS, 20222024). During his PhD, he developed research projects in the field of transplant immunology, investigating how manipulating cellular metabolism through pharmacological and dietary interventions could represent a therapeutic alternative for controlling rejection responses in transplant recipients. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Massachusetts General HospitalHarvard Medical School (MGHHMS, 2024), where he continues to conduct research on immunometabolic interventions in preclinical models of vascularized composite allotransplantation (VCA), with a focus on limb transplantation.
