Cristiane Vilma de Melo

PhD in Sociology from the Graduate Program in Sociology at the Federal University of São Carlos (PPGS/UFSCar), with a Visiting Fellow period at the Institute of Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology at the University of Leiden, the Netherlands. Her doctoral research was supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). She holds a Master's degree in Sociology from the Graduate Program in Sociology at UFSCar, where she carried out her research with support from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). She graduated in Social Sciences from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), with a major in Sociology and Anthropology, where she carried out undergraduate research with the help of the São Paulo State Research Foundation (FAPESP). She is a researcher associated with the Sexuality, Culture and Entertainment Research Group (SEXENT/UFSCar).
