I am a PhD Student of the IMPRS (International Max Planck Research School) program for Global Bigeochemical Cycles from the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry (MPI-BGC). I have an MSc. in Ecology from the National Institute for Amazonian Research (INPA) and I have a BSc in Biology degree from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) - campus Sorocaba. I have experience in the fields of Community and Ecosystem Ecology, Plant Physiology and Ecophysiology. My current line of research focuses on plant ecophysiology and my goal is to understand the relationships between the production and emission patterns of Biogenic Volatile Organic Compounds (BVOCs) and carbon allocation strategies for tropical tree species in Central Amazon.
