Associate Professor in the Medical-Surgical Nursing Department at the School of Nursing, University of São Paulo (EEUSP). Ph.D. in Health Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo (2018-2021), with a project conducted at the University of San Diego and funded by the National Institute of Health - NIH in the USA. Her thesis was awarded an honorable mention at the USP Thesis Highlight Award - 11th edition (2022). She serves as the scientific coordinator of the Intensive Care Nursing League (LeUTI) at EEUSP and is the vice-leader of the CNPQ research group on acute kidney injury studies (GERA) at EEUSP, accredited as a supervisor for the PROESA Master's program. She has been a guest speaker at COREN-SP Education since 2017. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Nove de Julho University (2007), a postgraduate degree in Health Education from Italo Brasileira University (2008), Nursing in Cardiology from the Federal University of São Paulo (2009), and specialization in Nephrology Nursing from the Hospital das Clinicas, University of São Paulo - HCFMUSP (2010) as a FUNDAP fellow. She obtained a Master's degree in Health Sciences - Nephrology from the Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo - FMUSP (2014-2017) with a project funded by FAPESP. She is a visiting researcher in the field of Nephrology at the University of San Diego, CA, USA, and the editor of the book "Training in Intensive Care Nursing." With experience in clinical practice, management, and teaching in nephrology and intensive care, she specializes in biomarkers, Acute Kidney Injury, nephrointensivism, nursing activities score (NAS), sepsis, diabetes mellitus, organ donation, and intensive care.
