I have a Bachelor's degree and a Degree in Biological Sciences, a master's degree in Ecology, Conservation and Wildlife Management and a PhD in Ecology (University of Missouri - Columbia, USA). I was a researcher/teacher in Animal Health at the University of Plymouth (UK) and a scholarship holder for the Science without Borders Program (Attraction Jovens Talentos, Capes/CNPq) by FIOCRUZ/RJ. From 2016 to 2023, I was an assistant professor at UVA-RJ, working as a researcher at the Center for Wild Vertebrate Studies (NEVS) and professor at the undergraduate and Professional Master's degrees in Environmental Sciences. I am currently an assistant professor at IBILCE / UNESP. I work mainly on ecology, conservation, health and parasitology of mammals, forest fragmentation and zoonoses. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
