Agronomist at University of São Paulo (Brazil), Master in Agronomy and Ph.D. in Science from the University of São Paulo in the area of concentration: Agricultural Environmental Physics, with a Ph.D. period at the Centre for Water and Climate at Wageningen University (Netherlands). During four-years, he was Scientific Researcher at Brazilian Bioethanol Science and Technology Laboratory engaged in sustainability studies assessment, focusing on water resources. Since 2013, Dr. Scarpare is accredited as a mentor in the Planning of Energy System an interdisciplinary postgraduate program hosted at UNICAMP guiding scientific studies on Water-Bioenergy-Land Use Nexus.
