He holds a degree in Technological Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (1987), a master's degree (2001) and a doctorate (2006) in Chemistry from the State University of Campinas. Member of the Scientific Council of the Brazilian Society of Functional Foods (SBAF) at the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (2005-2008) and chemist at the Multidisciplinary Center for Chemical, Biological and Agricultural Research (CPQBA) at the State University of Campinas. He has experience in the area of Analytical Chemistry, with an emphasis on Analytical Instrumentation, working mainly in the following areas: HPLC, essential oils, gas chromatography, GC-MSD and SPME.
