Oriel Tiago Kolln

He holds a degree in Agronomy from the State University of Central-West Paraná (2009), with a Master's (2012) and a Ph.D. (2016) from CENA/USP in the field of Energy in Agriculture and Environment. He has expertise in Soil Fertility, Plant Nutrition, and fertilizer management for cereals and sugarcane, with extensive experience in Nitrogen management and the use of 15N-enriched fertilizers.From 2012 to 2017, he worked as a Researcher at the National Laboratory of Bioethanol Science and Technology (CTBE/CNPEM), developing projects on innovative technologies for sugarcane cultivation, including precision spacing/planting, precision agriculture techniques, residue management (e.g., straw and filter cake), and sugarcane fertilization/nutritionwith a focus on Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE) in energy cane.Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the State University of Northern Paraná (UENP) in Bandeirantes/PR, a permanent faculty member, and Coordinator of the Masters Program in Agronomy (PPAGRO - UENP).
