Ursula Dias Peres

Ursula Peres holds a bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas - SP (1993), a master's degree and a Ph.D. in Economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas - SP (2007). Since 2008 she has been a PhD Professor at the EACH / USP in the Public Policy Management Course. She is currently the Coordinator of the Master Program in Public Policy Management and Professor of the Master Program in Social Change and Political Participation. Conducts academic orientation in the Post-Graduation Program in Integration of Latin America of the University of São Paulo - PROLAM / USP. She is a researcher associated to the Center for Studies of the Metropolis - CEM / USP and member of the Institute of Advanced Studies of the University of São Paulo - IEA / USP. Researchs the areas of Political Economy of the Public Budgeting and Financing of Public Policies, specially in the areas of Education and Public Security. He has experience in the Administration area, with emphasis on public management and public sector control. She has worked as a public budget manager and consultant for companies and governments in the areas of planning and budgeting, public policy management, education resources and municipal funds. She was General Budget Advisor at the Finance Department of the Municipality of São Paulo (2002-2003), Advisor to the Presidency of Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (2005-2007).
