Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Lavras (2005) and Doctor of Science (Anesthesiology) from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP) (2012), with research on reperfusion injury in major surgeries. Specialization in Neurosciences from the School of Continuing Education of HC-FMUSP (2019). Currently holds the position of Scientific Researcher IV at the Experimental Surgery Research Laboratory (LIM-26) at FMUSP, where he develops research covering organ transplantation, ischemia and reperfusion injury, and the application of innovative surgical models for the study of various conditions. Acts as one of the coordinators of the Laboratory of Minimally Invasive Procedures (PROMIN), a state-of-the-art platform that integrates robot-assisted minimally invasive surgery, videolaparoscopy and videoendoscopy, which opens new lines of translational research. Furthermore, I coordinate disciplines in the Postgraduate Program in Anesthesiology, Surgical Sciences and Perioperative Medicine - FMUSP, such as MAN5771 - Experimental Surgical Models and their Importance for Research, and MCM5964 - Cachexia Associated with Cancer, from the Postgraduate Program in Oncology. Collaboration in interdepartmental research projects, involving the areas of surgery, neurology, pediatrics and other specialties of FMUSP. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
