Marilia obtained both her B.S. and Ph.D. from University of Campinas (2006 and 2012, respectively) and joined the Brazilian Biosciences National Laboratory as a posdoctoral researcher in 2012. She became a biotechnology specialist at LNBio in 2016 and is currently responsible for the confocal laser scanning microscopy facility. She is interested in the Ras and Akt-mTOR pathways and cancer metabolism. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
