Graduated in Industrial Engineering by UNIVERSIDAD DE IBAGUE - CORUNIVERSITARIA (1997)., Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic School - USP (2010), PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic School - USP (2015). Currently a researcher at the Dynamics and Instrumentation Laboratory - Ladin, Polytechnic School - USP, acting on the following themes: Underwater Acoustic Monitoring, signal processing for acoustic event detection and identification, pattern recognition, multivariate statistics and development of software and hardware for embedded passive underwater acoustic monitoring systems.
