Beatriz Rodovalho Gonçalves

Graduated in Audiovisual Studies from the Universidade de São Paulo (2008). Has a Masters degree in Cinema and Audiovisual Studies from the University Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris 3 (2001). Beatriz Rodovalho is now a PhD candidate at the same university. Her research focuses on the reappropriation of home movies in contemporary documentary. She also studies amateur film from the perspective of gender, as well as develops a research on the relations between amateur film and displacement (travel, exile, migration). She currently teaches at Paris 3 and Paris 8 ("Cinéma de remontage"). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
