Rubens Caldeira Monteiro

Reservoir Geophysicist at Petrobras from Aug/2009 to Sep/2024 working on Uncertainty Analysis and Reservoir Geophysical Modeling and as Coordinator from Sep/2016 to Sep/2024. Since Oct/2024 working on Equity Participation Management in projects abroad. He has a Bachelor's degree in Geology (Unesp, 1993-1997) and in Environmental Management (Esalq/USP, 2002-2005), postgrad in Education (Unimep, 1998) and PhD in Geosciences and Environment Sci. (Unesp, 1999-2003). He was a visiting scholar at the University of Huelva (Spain, 2000) and at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA, 2000-2001). He has professional experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Assessment of Ferrous Mineral Resources for Long-Term Planning (Vale, 2005-2007), iron ore research (Sul Americana de Metais/Votorantim Novos Negócios - SAM/VNN, 2008-2009) and Territorial Environmental Management (Embrapa, 2005). He also worked in the areas of geostatistics, speleology, public management, hydrogeology, geoepidemiology, sustainable rural development, process modeling and project management.
