Ivan Bolis, Italian, professor at the Department of Production Engineering at the Federal University of Paraíba. Production Engineer with a double degree, graduated from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP) in 2006 and from the Politecnico di Milano in 2007. Master (2011), PhD (2014) and postdoctoral research (2018) in Production Engineering from Polytechnic School of USP. With a multidisciplinary background, having spent four years as a visiting professor in the Department of Social Psychology at the Federal University of Paraíba (2018-2022), the main line of action is related to the area of ergonomics (organizational and activity), sustainability, rationalities in decision making process and Industry 5.0. Its scientific production consists of publications in leading academic journals especially in the field of ergonomics and sustainability (such as "Applied Ergonomics", "Ergonomics", "Human Factors and Ergonomics in Manufacturing", "Safety Science" and Journal of Cleaner Production). Since 2021, he has been co-chair of the 'Ergonomics and Human Factors for Sustainability' technical committee of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA).
