Dr. Jacklyn D. Reis has over 12 years experience on optical communications focusing on high-speed optical transmission, networking and digital signal processing. As a Microelectronics D.U. Director, he leads 40+ top engineers developing signal processing ASICs for optical transceivers in deep sub-micron nodes. He worked at CPqD Foundation as a R&D specialist leading a 25+ R&D team with expertise in optical transmission systems and networking. He worked at BrPhotonics in 2017 as a optical system manager focusing on optical system modeling and DSP IP cores development for 400G/600G systems. He has BSc (2006) and MSc (2007) degrees in Electrical Engineering from UFPA - Federal University of Para and PhD degree from University of Aveiro (2012). He has published 150+ scientific papers in the field including top conferences (OFC and ECOC), highly ranked journals (JLT, PTL, Optics Express) with 900+ citations (h14).
