International experience in research for one year, at the University of Pennsylvania, working on projects involving the development of new antimicrobial agents and the preparation of fluorescent probes for biomolecule labeling. Worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Chemistry of the Universidade de São Paulo in a research project involving the semi-synthesis, extraction and purification of unstable natural dyes and the manufacture of hybrid dye-silica materials.
