Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Química de São Carlos (IQSC)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Graduation in Chemistry by the Institute of Chemistry / University of São Paulo (USP) and Master Degree in the biomolecular physics program of the Institute of Physics of São Carlos / USP. Currently developing a doctorate by the Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos/USP. The main academic interests are in the field of the Origins of life and in Astrobiology, especially in the study of thermodynamics in interactions between geological and biological or protobiological systems. As an undergraduated researcher, gained experience in a research project related to self-organized structures, such as biomimetic aggregates. Concluded a master degree research related to chemical disequilibria caused by radioactive decay radiolysis in deep subsurface environments and its outcomes for emergence of life and for habitability in the Europa icy moons. Currently the research project focuses on the perspectives of thermodynamics and electrochemistry of the alkaline hydrothermal vent model for the emergence of life, and on the adaptation of this hypothesis in the context of natural radioactive environments (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
