Holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedicine from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). During his undergraduate studies, he dedicated two years to scientific initiation in the field of Molecular Biology, where he developed a gene therapy project in a mouse model of Peripheral Arterial Disease, funded by FAPESP (Process 2016/09547-0). Currently, he is a PhD student in Genetics and Molecular Biology at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), with a research scholarship from FAPESP (process 2019/01587-1). In his PhD project, he investigates the mechanisms of aging control and stress response by miRNAs and proteins that participate in their pathway, in C. elegans. He completed a one-year international research internship (FAPESP, process 2021/13222-8) at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, complementing his doctoral research.
