Treuk has a PhD in Social History conferred by the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences of the University of Sao Paulo (FFLCH-USP). He received an honorable mention from the postgraduate program of Social History for his doctoral thesis (Social History Prize 2017-2018) and did a doctoral internship at the École Française de Rome. He has a bachelor's degree in History conferred by FFLCH - USP (Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo), a permission to teach (licentia docendi) and a bachelor's degree in Law conferred by the Law Faculty of the University of São Paulo.
