Holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Universidad de Zaragoza (2016), with the diploma revalidated by the Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro (2025). Completed a Master's degree (2019) and a PhD (2023) in Sciences within the "Biology of Host-Pathogen Interaction" program at the University of São Paulo (USP). During the PhD, conducted a research internship abroad at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Spain, subsequently having the doctoral diploma revalidated by the University of Barcelona (2023).Currently, pursuing a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, USP (started in 2023), with an international exchange in the "Mitochondrial Regulation of Cell Death and Steatohepatitis" group at the Institut d'Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS), in Barcelona.The research focuses on the study of isoprenoid metabolism as a therapeutic strategy for cancer, metabolic diseases, and parasitic infections, particularly those caused by Plasmodium falciparum and Leishmania spp. Specifically dedicated to investigating the metabolism of isoprenoid alcohols, the ubiquinone biosynthesis pathway, cellular bioenergetics, and the pharmacological inhibition of isoprenylated product biosynthesis.Has experience in the fields of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, with an emphasis on the Biochemistry of Microorganisms and Tumor Cells.
