CV Lattes

Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Biociências (IB)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

My experience is focused in research and education in biology, and ranges from studies in ecological succession and invasive species to biogeography and evolution of marine organisms. Currently, my research and interests are more focused on jellyfish evolution, trying to understand both biological and ecological aspects of these organisms by observing morphological and molecular variability. This involves not only research but also teaching experiences in congresses, seminars, courses and classes, reviewing and editing academic texts, and experience with programming and bioinformatics.
