André Renan Costa Silva

Geologist graduated from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), Master in Geosciences and Environment from the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP) and PhD in Sciences from the Center for Nuclear Energy in Agriculture of the University of São Paulo (CENA-USP) in the area of Chemistry in Agriculture. Scientific projects involves research and collaborations with emphasis on Soil Sciences, Geochemistry, Mineralogy, Sedimentary Geology, Stratigraphy and Geological Mapping. Experience with collection and chemical and mineralogical analysis of soils and sediments, mainly focused on X-ray Diffractometry, Spectroscopy in the infrared region and diffuse reflectance. In partnership with the University of Toulon (France), develops studies of organic matter using ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy and three-dimensional fluorescence. Collaborator in laboratory practices, preparation of technical reports, preparation of presentations and in the application of training at the Research Center in Geochemistry and Geophysics of the Institute of Energy and Environment of the University of São Paulo (IEE-USP), especially within the scope of environment, sustainability and environmental education.
