Marcia is a Ph.D. in Agronomy focus on Genetics and Plant Breeding. She got her graduation in BS Biology at Federal University of Sergipe (2011). She is a master in Agronomy focus on Genetic and Plant Breeding at Federal University of Lavras and master in Science focus on Physiology at Federal University of Sergipe. Marcia has experience in Plant Genetics and Plant Breeding, Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Biotechnology. Marcia's studys has focus on "holobionts" relationships among plants, rhizosphere microbiota and pest insect, with emphasis on "Crop Protection", gene expression, ecological rhizosphere microbiome studies, NGS - Illumina Miseq, entomology, synthetic biology, bioinputs and agricultural system adaptation.
