Ph.D. in Sciences from the Graduate Program in Structural and Functional Biology at the Federal University of São Paulo/Paulista School of Medicine (UNIFESP/EPM) and M.Sc. in Health Sciences from the Department of Tocogynecology at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Campinas (UNICAMP), with an emphasis on Gynecological Pathophysiology. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Universidade do Oeste Paulista (UNOESTE) and a postgraduate certificate in Higher Education Teaching.Works with in vivo and in vitro experimental models and is dedicated to research in immunometabolism, cell biology, human morphophysiology, lipid metabolism, molecular mechanisms of inflammation, diabetes, the NLRP3 inflammasome, the anti-inflammatory role of Annexin A1 (ANXA1), female genital infections and dysbiosis, gynecological pathophysiology, vaginal microbiota, menopause, lipidomics, metabolomics, and education-related topics.Completed postdoctoral training at the Department of Clinical Sciences, Clinical Research Centre (CRC) at Lund University (Malmö, Sweden), and at the Department of Ophthalmology, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (Dallas, Texas, USA). Served as a faculty member in the Medical School at Universidade do Oeste Paulista Guarujá Campus, teaching Biochemistry, Histology and Embryology, and Biosafety and Basic Life Support.Also held a postdoctoral research position through the Capes-PrInt Internationalization Program at the Paulista School of Medicine UNIFESP/EPM, in the Graduate Program in Structural and Functional Biology, conducting research in morphology, immunometabolism, inflammation, and gynecology.Currently serves as a Visiting Professor in Morphophysiology at the Center for Natural and Human Sciences of the Federal University of ABC (UFABC).
