Antoine Laurain

Bachelor and Master of Mathematics obtained at the University Henri Poincare Nancy (2003) and doctorate of Applied Mathematics from the University Henri Poincaré Nancy (2006). I did my PhD in Mathematics entitled "Singularly perturbed domains in shape optimization" at the Institut Elie Cartan, University of Nancy I.I am currently Associate Professor at the Faculty of Mathematics of he University of Duisburg-Essen, and Collaborating Researcher at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo in Brazil. My main interests in research are shape and topology optimization, free boundary problems, inverse problems, PDE-constrained optimization, optimal control, asymptotic analysis, calculus of variations, image analysis and applied mathematics.
