The goal of the project is the study of Galois Theory and applications, following “Galois Theory", by I. Stewart as well as an introduction to Differential Galois Theory, following "A first look at differential algebra" by J. H. Hubbard and B. E. Lundell (The American Mathematical Monthly). (AU)
The aim of this project is to give the student an elemental background in one dimensional discrete dynamics systems, preparing him to research in this subject. It proposes the study of the first chapter of "An introduction to chaotic dynamical systems" of R.
