Luciana Jorge

I am a professional with a degree in Veterinary Medicine from Nove de Julho University/São Paulo, with a diversified and solid academic and professional background. I am seeking this opportunity to present my experience and significant contributions to the veterinary field. My education includes a Ph.D. from the Federal University of São Paulo, with a sandwich Ph.D. period at the University of Utah, USA, as well as a Master's degree from the University of São Paulo. Additionally, I have a background in Physical Education from São Judas Tadeu University and have completed relevant supplementary courses, such as Laboratory Animal Science from FELASA in Portugal and courses in the United States by AALAS, covering areas such as Occupational Health and Safety, Recognition and Alleviation of Pain in Laboratory Animals, and Introduction to Mice.Throughout my career, I have worked as a researcher at the Federal University of São Paulo, contributing to innovative research. My professional background includes internships at Uninove Veterinary Hospital and Rebouça Veterinary Hospital - We Vet, and as an intern at Vet Therapy Veterinary Specialty Clinic and Animal Rehabilitation, as well as experience as a guest lecturer at Senac. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to develop leadership and teamwork skills as the coach of the women's futsal team at Tamaniaco Athletics at Nove de Julho University. I also highlight my role as a researcher at the Heart Institute (InCor) - FMUSP, contributing to important published works, which demonstrates my commitment to academic and scientific excellence.
