Karina Silva de Souza

Architect and urban planner, graduated from the Architecture and Urbanism College of the University of São Paulo (FAUUSP) and studying for a masters degree at the same institution in History and Fundamentals of Architecture and Urbanism, with the research Curatorial Narratives at the Architecture Internationl Biennale of Sao Paulo (2003-2022): perspectives for thinking about architecture and urbanism in the 21st century. She attended the lato sensu postgraduate courses Cidades em Disputa Pesquisa, História e Processos Sociais [Cities in Dispute - Research, History and Social Processes], at Escola da Cidade (SP) and Gestão Cultural: Cultura, Desenvolvimento e Mercado [Cultural Management: Culture, Development and Market,] at the Centro Universitário Senac. She studies architecture, culture and the city in Latin America. She interned as an educator and production assistant at the Brazilian Museum of Sculpture and Ecology (MuBE). She was also a production assistant at Casaplanta. She is currently production coordinator at the Sao Paulo Department of the Institute of Architects of Brazil (IABsp), coordinator of the project Restaura!
