Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy. Masters in Public Health from the School of Public Health at the University of São Paulo (FSP/USP). Ph.D. in Toxicology from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto (FCFRP-USP). Former Professor of Toxicology in the postgraduate program in Toxicological Sciences at Faculdade Oswaldo Cruz (São Paulo), where he taught the disciplines of Toxicity Assessment and Risk Assessment.A recognized figure in both academic and business circles, he has led a legacy of impactful projects in the field of alternative methods, with an emphasis on in silico models in Brazil. Notable achievements include the iS-Tox Platform (a FAPESP PIPE project), the first in silico modeling platform with regulatory purposes in Brazil and Latin America; and Pharma-hub, which launched 10 new software tools and dozens of successful in silico models in the market, such as DegradationPlot, Genotox-iS, among others.He has extensive experience in scientific and technical consultancy involving in silico toxicology, toxicological risk assessment, and the calculation of regulatory toxicological limits across various sectors. His work has resulted in the publication of books, articles, and book chapters, as well as innovations that have contributed to scientific advances and the development of new software and predictive models.
