Thaís Nunhes holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, in the area of Management and Optimization, from the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (FEG-UNESP). She was a Direct Doctoral Fellow at the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and between September 2019 and September 2020 she completed a research internship at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Barcelona, with a BEPE-FAPESP scholarship. Technologist in Industrial Production Management at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo (IFSP Campus Salto), she held a 1-year sandwich period at the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado e do Ave, in Portugal. Thaís has research and teaching experience in the disciplines of Integrated Management Systems (Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety, Innovation and Social Responsibility), Corporate Sustainability, Cleaner Production, Waste Management, Project Management, Industry 4.0 and Methodology of Research, having published several scientific articles in international journals of high impact factor.
