Juliana dos Santos Rosa

Nowadays, she is a Postdoctoral fellow at the Institute for Research and Innovation in Health at the University of Porto (Porto - Portugal) working on the project funded by Litwin Pioneers entitled -- Oxidative-responsive nanomedicines for managing inflammatory bowel disease. She holds a Master's and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of São Paulo, Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences (CAPESP 7) at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto, both funded by FAPESP. She worked on her master's (2017 - 2019) and PhD (2019 - 2022) in the field of nanotechnology, in the development and optimization of multifunctional lipid nanoparticles for the delivery of drugs and siRNAs, aiming at the treatment of skin cancer. She carried out pedagogical preparation through the Teaching Improvement Program (PAE) in the disciplines of Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology (2018) and Pharmacotechnics (2020). She was a member of the Scientific Committee of the Student Chapter USP, belonging to the American Association Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) in the biennium 2017-2018. Worked in the pharmaceutical industry (2016) in the area of Physical Chemical Quality Control, focusing on validation of analytical methods. Graduated in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Ouro Preto, where she worked as a research, teaching and extension fellow in the Tutorial Education Project - PET SESu/MEC. He worked in Scientific Initiation in the area of Pharmaceutical Technology/Nanotechnology with the development of Liposomes, research in which he generated a formulation patent (BR BR10201701340) and in the area of Organic Chemistry in polymer synthesis to obtain micro and nano spheres for drug encapsulation. She has an H9 index on Google Scholar, with 15 articles in indexed journals, 2 book chapters and 1 patent. She is a peer reviewer for Journals: Journal of Controlled Release, European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Journal of experimental & clinical cancer research, Drug delivery and Translational Research.
