He holds a Ph.D. from the Graduate Program in Science Education at the Faculty of Sciences of São Paulo State University (Unesp), Bauru campus, and a Masters degree from the same institution. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry Teaching from the Institute of Chemistry of Araraquara (Unesp). He was a FAPESP-funded undergraduate research fellow, conducting a project in the History of Chemistry, which included research at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, also funded by the same agency. During his Masters studies, he investigated the concepts of everyday life and contextualization in the field of Chemistry Education. In his doctoral research, he explored the interfaces between two interdisciplinary fields Chemistry Education and the Philosophy of Chemistry highlighting potential applications in chemistry teaching. He has two years of experience teaching chemistry at the secondary school level and has also taught at the university level, offering courses in Chemistry Teaching (Unesp, Araraquara campus) and Biology Teaching (Unesp, Jaboticabal campus). Currently, he is engaged in higher education teaching and in a pedagogical project aimed at promoting Environmental Education in secondary schools and supporting students in essay writing. His research focuses on the History, Philosophy, and Sociology of Science and Chemistry, particularly in relation to their intersections with education.
