J C Durand . 1A researcher level (CNPq) He graduated in 1966, has a master's degree in social science (1972) and a PhD in social science (1985) - specialiization in sociology by the University of São Paulo . He holds a post graduate degree by the Centre de Sociologie Européenne, from the École des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in social science (1986-1987) and the Rockefeller Foundation Fellow (1999-2000) together with "The Privatization of Culture Project for Research on Cultural Policy? (New York University/Cuny University and New School for Social Research). He is a full professor of sociology (retired) from the Business Administration School of São Paulo, Brazil - Getulio Vargas Foundation .He had been, from 2006 to 2011, associate researcher from FOCUS - Grupo de Pesquisa sobre Instituição Familiar e Organizações Familiares of the Educatiion Faculty - State University of Campinas. Nominated in 2012 as Advisor and Professor at the Cultural Studies Graduate Program of the School of Arts and Sciences of the University of São Paulo.
