I work as Professor in the philosophy department at the Federal University of Paraíba. My specialization is in the area of ancient Greek philosophy of the classical period, with a special focus on the metaphysical implications of Aristotle's 'psycho-biology'. I was a FAPESP postdoctoral fellow at the University of Campinas in the research group led by Prof. Lucas Angioni, which included a period of one year as visting post-doc at the University of Tübingen with prof. Klaus Corcilius. I obtained my master's and doctorate at the University of Edinburgh, under the supervision of Prof. Theodore Scaltsas. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
